There was disruption alongside the M3 on Friday (June 18) after one lane was closed on a slip street as a consequence of flooding close to Basingstoke.

The flooding was reported to have occurred at J5 A287 (Hook) with one closed on the exit slip street on the M3 Northbound.

A yellow climate warning will stay in place throughout south east England till 6 am on Saturday (June 19).

Alongside the flooding on the M3, there was additionally disruption to bus and rail companies throughout Hampshire.
