There may be heavy site visitors on the M27 resulting from a damaged down lorry that has resulted in two lanes being closed.
Highways England tweeted at round 3.05pm on Thursday (July 8) to say that two lanes have been closed as a result of damaged down lorry, which is carrying a crane.
There are heavy delays of greater than half an hour on the eastbound carriageway between Junction 8 and Junction 9.
Journey information service INRIX has mentioned: “Two lanes closed and queuing site visitors resulting from damaged down lorry carrying a crane on M27 Eastbound from J8 A3024 (Bursledon / Hamble) to J9 A27 Segensworth Hyperlink Street (Segensworth / Fareham). Congestion to J7 (Hedge Finish).
“Lane one and two (of three) are closed, earlier stories recommended the street was totally re-open, however callers affirm lane closures are nonetheless in place.”
